Nurture Nappies is an avid supporter of KIVA. Kiva's mission is to connect people through lending for the sake of alleviating poverty. Young Mums

Young Mums is a free support service for women aged 21 or under, who are pregnant or have recently had a baby, who are living in the ACT or Queanbeyan. Young Mums is about supporting young women through pregnancy, birth and the transition into motherhood. The program is based on the belief that young women are very capable of making informed choices when it comes to pregnancy, birth and becoming a mum. Young women deserve positive support and need someone who will believe strongly in their ability to transition positively into motherhood. The program aims to support young women in empowering themselves to create positive experiences of pregnancy and birth that will help them become the confident, competent mums that they can be.

The Australian Breastfeeding Association

The Australian Breastfeeding Association (ABA) is an organisation of people interested in the promotion and protection of breastfeeding. Amongst these are breastfeeding women and their partners and health professionals such as doctors, lactation consultants and midwives. ABA was founded in Melbourne, Victoria in 1964 (as the Nursing Mothers' Association), with the primary aim of giving mother-to-mother support to breastfeeding women. The Association is supported by health authorities and specialists in infant and child health and nutrition, including a panel of distinguished honorary advisers. ABA is recognised internationally as a source of accurate information about breastfeeding management and research.
